Immigration fraud, some call it. Immigration reform, others advocate for. Between the nostalgia and rhetoric, migrant families are facing an uphill battle of convincing American lawmakers about allowing them in. The dream of freedom has left many in utter disappointment.Apart from increased impoverish levels and population explosion, America is infested with the curse of racism, colonialism, and radicalism. The more migrants of different faiths, beliefs and ethnicities who have entered, the more they have been accused of posing security threats to the nation. This essay, "Why Do You Want to Come to America", examines the reasons why Muslim migrants are coming to America despite the Muslim ban, hate speech, propaganda, and government resistance. With the Muslim ban in place, deportation of illegals and profiling being applied aggressively toward anyone of foreign descent, the fundamental question in all of this should be: Is the promise of wealth worth the cost of losing your culture, kids, and livelihood?Reviewed by Robert A. Groves for Readers' Favorite Why Do You Want to Come to America? by Eric Reese is a contemporary essay aimed at the person who wants to migrate to America. Specifically, it is aimed at Muslims who want to migrate to the United States. The essay explores the subjects of money, freedom, marriage, education, religion, and refuge. Beginning with money, Reese portrays a grim and accurate portrait of the financial struggle which exists to realize the American dream once one has arrived in the nation. Unfortunately, that same grimness exists for some native-born Americans. While the author applauds the religious freedom which exists in America, he questions the limits of some other liberties which people think are freely available to all. It was quite interesting to read what Reese had to say about protest and the results from such action. However, the grimmest picture of all i 1. Language: English. Narrator: Jason Meza. A trans boy determined to prove his gender to his traditional Latinx family summons a ghost who refuses to leave in Aiden Thomas's paranormal YA debut Cemetery Boys, described by Entertainment Weekly as "groundbreaking." Yadriel has summoned a ghost, and now he can't get rid of him. When his traditional Latinx family has problems accepting his true gender, Yadriel becomes determined to prove himself a real brujo. With the help of his cousin and best friend Maritza, he performs the ritual himself, and then sets out to find the ghost of his murdered cousin and set it free. However, the ghost he summons is actually Julian Diaz, the school's resident bad boy, and Julian is not about to go quietly into death. He's determined to find out what happened and tie off some loose ends before he leaves. Left with no choice, Yadriel agrees to help Julian, so that they can both get what they want. But the longer Yadriel spends with Julian, the less he wants to let him leave.Praise for Cemetery Boys: "The novel perfectly balances the vibrant, energetic Latinx culture while delving into heavy topics like LGBTQ+ acceptance, deportation, colonization, and racism within authoritative establishments." -TeenVogue.com "This stunning debut novel from Thomas is detailed, heart-rending, and immensely romantic. I was bawling by the end of it, but not from sadness: I just felt so incredibly happy that this queer Latinx adventure will get to be read by other kids. Cemetery Boys is necessary: for trans kids, for queer kids, for those in the Latinx community who need to see themselves on the page. Don't miss this book." -Mark Oshiro, author of Anger is a Gift

A crackling, highly imaginative thriller debut in the vein of W.E.B. Griffin and Philip Kerr, set in German-occupied London at the close of World War II, in which a hardened British detective jeopardizes his own life to save an innocent soul and achieve the impossible-redemption.London, 1946. The Nazis have conquered the British, and now occupy Great Britain, using brutality and fear to control its citizens. John Henry Rossett, a decorated British war hero and former police sergeant, has been reassigned to the Office of Jewish Affairs. He now answers to the SS, one of the most powerful and terrifying organizations in the Third Reich.Rossett is a man accustomed to obeying commands, but he's now assigned a job he did not ask for-and cannot refuse: rounding up Jews for deportation, including men and women he's known his whole life. But they are not the only victims, for the war took Rossett's wife and son, and shattered his own humanity. Then he finds Jacob, a young Jewish child, hiding in an abandoned building, who touches something in Rossett that he thought was long dead.Determined to save the innocent boy, Rossett takes him on the run, with the Nazis in pursuit. But they are not the only hunters following his trail. The Royalist Resistance and the Communists want him, too. Each faction has its own agenda, and Rossett will soon learn that none of them can be trusted . . . and all of them are deadly.

Living in America does not mean you are an American citizen. This is what you need to know. Make no mistake about it. If you have been born one moment away or one foot from the borders of this country, you must consider yourself a guest within the borders. So act accordingly and behave yourself! Or you will find yourself on the receiving end of a very tragic and unsympathetic deportation process. This book is crazy as hell. It's like having four books in one. It's a sequel to Do You Want To Go To Jail Today? and A Wrong Turn . . . A Bad Decision: The Extortion of Probation by Nick Rahaman. In this book the day-to-day struggles to survive within the walls of a deportation camp and racism is redefined. Many of us believe what is happening with deportation is appalling, cruel, and vicious. Many of us has certainly justified it is necessary for the safety of our citizens, property, livelihood, and the economic stability of our nation.
